SAVE THE DATE. 16th annual Universities Fighting World Hunger Summit March 25 and 26, 2021 Hosted by University of California Davis

Please join us virtually for the 16th annual UFWH Summit, hosted by the University of California Davis. Our focus is ONE HEALTH. ONE PLANET., emphasizing the interdependency between food and climate change.

More details will be available soon at worldfoodcenter.ucdavis.edu/summit2021. UFWH and Bread for the World have partnered to provide two one-hour Racial Wealth Gap Learning Simulations. We are hosting two simulations, so participants may choose the single session that works best for their schedule. This simulation will help students understand the connections among racial equity, hunger, poverty, and wealth. Students will learn how federal policies have created structural inequalities and how policies increase hunger and poverty in communities of color. Visit this link to learn more about the simulation. Session options: Monday, November 16 at 6pm CST – 24 spots remain! Tuesday, November 17 at 10:30am CST – 19 spots remain! https://mailchi.mp/auburn/save-the-date-ufwh-summit-2021?e=42d769c4fa
